Accommodation in university dormitories

• Accommodation for Erasmus+ Incoming Students Incoming Erasmus+ students at West University of Timisoara can be provided by request (on the online application) in our dormitories situated in the student area and in the city.
• For Erasmus+ Incoming students there are shared rooms available, so you will have to share it with another/other WUT student/s.
• A place will be booked for you in one of our dormitories. Assigned dormitory and roommates will be randomly established, according to the Faculty you are studying.
• Accommodation price is approximately 120€ /month per place, rent & expenses.
• Two weeks before your arrival you will be informed, by email, about dormitory assigned for you and check-in procedure.

Accommodation in apartments in the city

• Another accommodation option is renting a private apartment in the city of Timișoara. This option is usually more expensive than university accommodation. The average price for a two-room apartment is around 500 EUR per month, although the price may vary depending on location, size and condition of the apartment. Apartments located in the city centre or close to universities are generally more expensive. 
• Sometimes Erasmus students choose to share an apartment with other students in order to split the rent and make the cost more affordable. In addition to the monthly rent, in case of renting a private apartment, you will also need to pay utility costs such as electricity, water, heating, internet etc. 
• Please note that if you decide not to accept the accommodation offered by the university, it is your responsibility to find and arrange accommodation in the city on your own.
