Erasmus + Mobility Programme

In the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme, students can perform a mobility for study and/or placement at a partner institution.

 

  • Erasmus+ provides financial support to study in one of the partner institutions of West University of Timişoara; the study period can have a duration of 3-12 months;
  • Erasmus+ provides financial support for a internship/placement mobility in an enterprise or institution of higher education; the internship/placement can have a duration of 2-12 months;
  • Erasmus+ offers students the opportunity to carry a total of 12 months of mobility per each cycle of studies (bachelor, master, doctorate);
  • The internships or study abroad mobilities are recognized upon return, based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

In the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme academic and administrative staff can pursue a teaching/training mobility at a partner institution.

  • Erasmus+ offers academic staff financial support (for subsistence and transport) to carry out a mobility for teaching in one of the HEIs that UVT has concluded a bilateral agreement with. The total duration of mobilities for teaching varies between 2 days and 2 months, with a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week, with limited places available under agreements in force . UVT recommends that the academic staff carries out an an Erasmus+ teaching mobility of 5 days (8 hours of teaching minimmum).
  • Erasmus+ offers administrative staff financial support (for subsistence and transport) to carry out a mobility for training in one of the HEIs that UVT has concluded a bilateral agreement with. The total duration of mobilities for training is at least 2 days and can last up to a maximum of 2 months during one academic year, subject to availability within the inter-institutional agreements in force. UVT recommends administrative staff, teaching and non-teaching, to undertake an Erasmus+ mobility for training of 5 days.
