Eligibility criteria are set according to the type of grant and the specific profile of each host Faculty\/DPPD, and include:<\/p><ul><li>International visibility of the applicant&#8217;s academic profile (publications as author or editor, reviewer activity);<\/li><li>International recognition of the candidate (grants, scholarships, membership in professional associations, academic awards);<\/li><li>The candidate&#8217;s teaching achievements (course development, coordination of student activities &#8211; volunteering, symposia, summer schools; teaching awards).<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>During the period of the Visiting@WUT grant, <strong>beneficiaries will be provided<\/strong> with:<\/p><ul><li>an office in the host Faculty\/ DPPD<\/li><li>unlimited access to University and host Faculty\/DPPD facilities<\/li><li>free access to the electronic resources of the WUT<\/li><li>E-UVT institutional account<\/li><li>free accommodation on campus<\/li><li>reimbursement of one round-trip ticket between the place of origin and Timisoara<\/li><li>payment of a grant of 6000 RON\/month.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ea44cd5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-accordion\" data-id=\"ea44cd5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"accordion.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-2451\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"1\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2451\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Selection process for Visiting@WUT grant beneficiaries <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2451\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"1\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2451\"><p><strong>The selection of lecturers\/researchers<\/strong> for a Visiting@WUT grant is carried out by each WUT faculty and the DPPD, based on an application file.<\/p><p>The contents of an <strong>application file<\/strong> include:<\/p><ul><li>Registration form;<\/li><li>Curriculum Vitae;<\/li><li>List of publications;<\/li><li>1-page description of the candidate\u2019s teaching\/ research profile;<\/li><li>1-page motivation letter (detailing interest in collaboration and benefits for the host Institution);<\/li><li>2 courses structure\/ 1 research structure \u2013 title, abstract, topics, objectives, methods, targeted results, selected bibliography (max. 4 pages);<\/li><li>Letter of acceptance from the Department\/ host Faculty (recommended).<\/li><\/ul><p>The evaluation of applications will be conducted:<\/p><ul><li>at the Faculty level, by a committee from the host Faculty composed of the Dean, International Relations Vice-Dean, Academic\/Research Vice-Dean, and the Head of the host Department (the number of members may vary depending on the administrative positions designated at the Faculty level; the committee is validated by the Faculty Council);<\/li><li>at the DPPD level, by a committee composed of three members of the DPPD Department Council, appointed by the DPPD Director and validated by a vote of the Council.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-2452\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2452\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\"> Exploitation of results in the Visiting@WUT grant programme<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2452\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2452\"><p>Each Visiting@WUT beneficiary must comply with the following <strong>obligations<\/strong>:<\/p><ul><li>mention the (co-)affiliation with WUT in every published paper, conference participation, event organization, project submission, or patent obtained during or as a result of the grant;<\/li><li>notify WUT of any change in professional status from the time of participation in the Visiting@WUT grant selection until the signing of the grant agreement;<\/li><li>ensure that no study contract (at any level), employment contract, or other written agreement with WUT was concluded for the period between the participation in the Visiting@WUT grant selection and the conclusion of the grant;<\/li><li>actively participate in the activities and events of the WUT academic community and to support the academic initiatives of the host Faculty and Department;<\/li><li>submit a detailed activity report to the Programme Coordinator at the end of each month during the period covered by the Visiting@WUT grant;<\/li><li>give a public presentation of the Visiting@WUT experience and the stay in Timisoara, open to colleagues and students from the WUT academic community;<\/li><li>act as a WUT Ambassador at their home universities and institutions, promoting the Visiting@WUT grant programme to their communities.<\/li><\/ul><p>Specific obligations for <strong>Visiting Lecturer <\/strong>grant:<\/p><ul><li>offer at least one teaching discipline (including related course and seminar activities) that spans a full or modular semester (covering proposal, development, teaching, and evaluation);<\/li><li>organize at least one additional type of activity (such as a course, seminar, round table, or lecture) and\/or participate in (co-)tutoring, (co-)thesis supervision, volume editing, etc., in accordance with the proposal included in the application file and the final agreement negotiated and signed with WUT.<\/li><\/ul><p>Specific obligations for <strong>Visiting Researcher<\/strong> grant:<\/p><ul><li>conduct research activities in accordance with the proposal included in the application file and the final agreement negotiated and signed with WUT;<\/li><li>for short-term grants: submit for publication at least one article (in a Web of Science or Scopus-indexed journal, according to the main research areas of the host Faculty\/ DPPD);<\/li><li>for long-term grants: submit for publication at least two articles (in a Web of Science or Scopus-indexed journal, according to the main research areas of the host Faculty\/ DPPD) or book chapters to internationally recognized academic journals;<\/li><li>in the case of collaborative research with colleagues from WUT, contribute to the submission of at least one Horizon Europe 2020 or equivalent project proposal.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f9f3913 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f9f3913\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ri.uvt.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/VISITING@WUT-martie-2026.pdf\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Call for Applications \u2013 Visiting@WUT: First Semester, Academic Year 2026-2027<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p><p><strong style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );
